Casey Donovan Joins Women Of Soul

Casey Donovan (2nd Series Australian Idol Winner) will be joining the cast of Women Of Soul.

Since her Australian Idol journey, Casey has been busy writing new music and finding her way through song and art.  In November 2007, Casey released an Independent EP “Eye 2 Eye” and is preparing to get back into the studio to record an album with songs she has written over the past few years!

“When I was approached to be a part of Women Of Soul, I thought it would be heaps of fun. I love soul music and what it has to offer – the stories, lyrics and cool melodies. I grew up listening to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and a little Whitney!” said Casey.

Women of Soul  - Starring Casey Donovan, Roshani Priddis and Madam Parker will perform some of Soul’s finest moments from the 60’s through to modern day - From the dynamic and emotive ballads of the likes of Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston, through to ending up with the whole room on their feet dancing to the uplifting tunes of Motown, Stevie Wonder and more.
